Privacy Notice

Effective from: 21 July 2026

Farbmit Magyarország Kft. is committed to protecting the personal data of its visitors and clients. This notice has been prepared on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian law.

2. Data processed, purpose and legal basis

Contact form: name, e-mail address, phone number, subject and purpose of the enquiry, and the message. Purpose: answering the enquiry, contact, providing a quote. Legal basis: the data subject's consent and/or steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

Calculator: property data (type, floor area, number of storeys, year of construction, etc.) and e-mail address. Purpose: preparing and sending a preliminary, indicative price estimate. Legal basis: the data subject's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Technical log data: IP address, browser identifier. Purpose: secure operation of the website, prevention of abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies: the handling of cookies is set out in the Cookie Policy.

3. Retention period

Contact and calculator data are processed until the enquiry is closed, in case of a quote until its validity expires, and in case of a contract for the period required by law (e.g. accounting rules). Upon withdrawal of consent, data are deleted unless retention is required by law.

4. Data processors, data transfers

Hosting provider: Tárhely.Eu Szolgáltató Kft. (1097 Budapest, Könyves Kálmán körút 12-14., Hungary).

Analytics and advertising providers: subject to consent, the services of Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta (Meta Pixel). These providers may process data via cookies and may transfer it outside the European Union, under their own privacy terms. These services are only activated with the visitor's explicit consent (see Cookie Policy).

5. Your rights

You have the right to request information about the processing of your personal data, and to request its rectification, erasure or restriction, to object to processing, and to exercise your right to data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge. Requests can be sent to info@farbmit.hu.

6. Remedies

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information:

7. Data security

The controller ensures the security of personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, protecting it against unauthorised access, alteration and destruction.
